5 Tips On How To Accomplish Your Goals

Teens and young adults have a lot of energy and hormones raging in their systems. For many, the only outlet is a party! Unfortunately, this is never productive nor progressive. It’s a waste of time, energy and resources.

Let me tell you that there is a better party that is productive, progressive and brings greater fulfillment. Let me breakdown this party for you: P.A.R.T.Y.

Plan your day, plan your life! Many times we put of the essential task of planning because it is mentally demanding, yet it is the most critical task we need to do.

So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

2 Chronicles 27:6

Greatness is planned. Greatness will not fall in your laps, you have to plan for it. To be honest with you, planning is not as tedious and boring as people say it is. It can actually be a fun event.  Throw a planning party and invite your friends. You may not get as large a crowd as with other parties but party on anyway.  Group your progressive friends together and have a “life board meeting”. Help each other make executable plans that will propel you to greatness. Set goals that will be your roadmap to success.

Be accurate in executing your goals. Practice the art and skill of precision in life. Don’t be shoddy or haphazard in the execution of your plans. David had 5 smooth stones to kill Goliath with, but he knew he only had one shot at it.

He had to be precise.

Fire Up Your Life With Purpose

Fire up your life with purpose

We are all born with a purpose inside us. God created you for a purpose. You were created as a solution for some problem on earth.

Just as each tool in a mechanics tool box has a specific purpose, so too does each and every person.

Discover your purpose, pursue it and fulfil it. That is the secret to living your best life now. A fulfilling, satisfying and gratifying life.

Life without purpose is a drag. It is frustrating and plain boring. On the other hand, when you discover your purpose, you find the reason to wake up each morning. You discover the fuel for life. Purpose ignites a certain fire in us that drives us to be our best.

Purpose is the fuel of life!

When you live life on purpose, you have a special drive that enables you to succeed in life. Purpose fuels your efforts, your mind and even your soul. That is why, without purpose, there is a lack of creativity, zeal, excitement and energy. Without purpose the soul withers and dries up. The result being depression, anger and a grumpy version of you!

Joseph could have given up on life in Egypt after his brothers sold him but he didn’t. He knew he had a purpose to fulfil. That fuelled his resolved to resist falling into a pit of depression. Passion fuelled his resolve to resist temptation.

Without purpose, Joseph would have agreed to sleep with Potiphar’s wife, after all, he would have had nothing to lose. In prison, he would have become just another convict. But because he had something to live for, he lived differently. He lived on purpose. The result? He got a promotion! What prisoner gets promoted in prison!? That’s the power of purpose!

Purpose makes you distinct.

When you live on purpose, you don’t live life anyhow, you live life with a direction. Because you know where you are going, you do the things that will get you there. Many people are so distracted in life that they never achieve anything. They are not focused. Purpose gives you direction in life and direction gives you focus.

Focus produces success.

1 John 3:8

…………For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus’s purpose was to destroy the works of the devil. That entailed a violent death for Him. Purpose fuelled His resolve to go through with it. With purpose, pain is nothing. It’s just part of the package.

Hebrews 12:2

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

There is immeasurable joy in fulfilling our purpose. We are always our best when we are joyful.

Joy gives us an extra bounce in our step.

It unlocks creativity in us. Joy gives us energy, a special kind of energy and courage. It is this joy that strengthens us in tough times. Purpose helps us endure our “cross”. Purpose gives us grace to  despise the shame and pain of the journey until we receive the reward of purpose.

Without purpose, your life is running on empty. Soon the tank will be empty and you will be stuck in a rut. Discover your purpose, pursue it and fulfil it.
